The Rat King: A Journey Through Music

The Rat King’s story began in the vibrant cityscape of downtown Los Angeles, where the buzzing underground music scene acts as the birthplace for many eclectic bands. The year was 2015, a time when the city’s cultural melting pot was particularly effervescent, brimming with artists eager to make their mark. Amidst this creative chaos, four unique talents crossed paths, each bringing their own flavor to the mix, eventually forming what we now know as The Rat King.

The band’s name, inspired by the folklore of a cluster of rats whose tails are intertwined, symbolizes unity in diversity. The members saw themselves as distinct entities bound by their shared passion for music, their diverse influences weaving together to create a sound that was entirely their own.
